The most widespread disorders that influence the health of women and require using women’s health services include the following:

  • Dysmenorrhea.

    This notion signifies pain associated with the onset of menstruation. It is experienced by a vast majority of women and is often caused by spasms occurring during periods;

  • Irregular menstruation.

    This problem can affect the reproductive health of women because it signifies that a woman may have problems getting pregnant or experience other associated gynecological troubles;

  • Polycystic ovary syndrome.

    This condition may also affect the appropriate functioning of the female reproductive system.
    It occurs when not mature follicles in the female ovaries get together to form a sizeable cyst and prevent the release of mature eggs.
    This causes the woman’s inability to get pregnant;

  • Endometriosis.

    This problem affects the woman’s uterus, which is a place where a baby gets mature when a woman is expecting a child.
    Endometriosis represents a tissue that can grow on such organs as ovaries, uterus, bladder or bowels among others.
    In rare cases, it can also grow in different other body parts;

  • Uterine fibroids

    are the most widespread non-cancerous tumors that often affect women when they reach child-bearing age.
    The fibroids are made of tissues that tend to grow on or around the walls of the uterus.
    The cause of this disorder is still not researched very well.
    However, the risk factors often include obesity among other aspects.

It is worth noting that healthy women do not have all these problems, but it is getting harder to find an absolutely healthy woman who would not suffer from any gynecological conditions at one time in her life.

It is, therefore, important to maintain a good health condition and get regular medical care in order to prevent or detect possible troubles.
